Mariana comes from Portugal, where she received her dance education. She took part in many international competitions in Portugal, England, Austria and France. She was a Silver Medalist in TanzOlymp Berlin, in 2013.

She moved to Madrid, Spain, to complete her Bachelor Degree in Arts and Classical Dance, from the Instituto Universitario de Danza Alicia Alonso, at Rey Juan Carlos University. She joined the Junior Company Ballet de Cámara de Madrid between 2015 and 2019.

 

Her first professional engagement was at Divadlo F.X.Šaldy in Liberec, in 2019. She has worked with choreographers such as Marika Mikanová, Alena Pešková, Richard Ševčík, Šimon Kuban, Marek Svobodník, Viktor Konvalinka and Filip Veverka. In 2021, she became a soloist. She is now a guest dancer with the company.

 

Mariana started practicing Pilates when she was still a student. She completed her first Pilates Instructor Certification with Peak Pilates in 2021. She is certified in Mat Pilates and attended the training course of Pilates for Dancers.

She is now part of the Instructor Training Program of Romana's Pilates International in Prague. She is passionate about teaching dancers and helping them build deeper connections between body and mind.
